205 Aftermarket shift rail issue (help)

more info ?

whos shafts ?

and are those adjustable detent pins ?

I never felt the need to have adjustable detent pins on 205 .

only to shim up my 203 range box with a 5/16 nut for my doubler kit I did .

I betting shift rail was cut @ wrong angle to groves on shaft for detent balls.

I see problem only if still stock 1 lever shifting . if twin stick kit should be no problem that little tiny bit .

JKW offroad and he is taking care of me
Yes they are adjustable dentent pins. Truck pulling can sometimes be VIOLENT and knock the chassis/body around and pop it out of gear from flexing, so I wanted a firmer feel to the shift and detent and could have tried shimming the stock spring, but thought this would be easier and infinitely adjustable.

I tried bolting my ORD twin stick to this and it worked but noticed the shift felt hard. There is a common bolt that goes through each shift arm and the stabilizer bracket that mounts to the front bearing retainer. Without enlarging 1 or more of the holes it wants to bind.

I could have drilled the hole and called it a day, but after spending money I wanted it to be right....
