Theres two holes on the side of my 205, just wondering what years those brackets came out of, and if anyone here has hooked one up on their blazer? Do they sell aftermarket versions of these? Just wonderin if someone could post a pic of one, and give some pros/ cons of whether or not I should run one. Thanks all! :thumb:

You could but I think there are better options out on the market. I'm using a setup from a company called trail tech fab. It replaces the bolts on the rear cover with studs and a plate slips over the top. Then you can make a simple crossmember and tie it together.

Wow, that is friggin awesome :eek1:.......i was lookin for a stock bolt on kinda deal, as I dont have any fab skill, lol.Do u have that 205 in with your fabbed CM installed yet? Id like to see a pic if so! I was thinkin ANY bracket on the 205 might be a goid thing, mabey save the life span of the tranny mounts ....

That's just what I want to do. Did you order that from a website or was it through Pirate by way of PM's.

Here's the one I made for mine. Used Kert's fabricator's set and a few pieces of scrap I had. I like it better than stock, that's for sure.

Thank you sir! It wasn't hard at all, just took a little time and some welding wire. I had the stuff laying around to make it and was never fond of the factory style torque mount so I figured I'd give it a go.

Pirate via pm's. He is in the vendor's section. Just pm him and he'll send you a paypal invoice.

i still have the stock one one.sorry no pics.id rather have it on than nothing at all.it will keep the lateral movement down of the drivetrain pretty well if the bushings are good.a simple one can be made or bought fairly easy as the other guys have done.

Here is something I put together...

The piece on the right bolts on where your talking about. It all attaches to a crossmember below the Tcase.

I think I'm going to add one to mine after I raise my crossmember

Just for peace of mind

How much do the stockers usually go for?

I think I've still got mine (just the metal bracket, no bushings). If you want it pay for the ride (should fit in a small flat rate box, or a medium worst case scenario). I'll go confirm that I have it, but let me know if you want it.

I do have it. Forgot it was that big, definitely gonna be a medium box but I can get it to you if you'd like.

I have the bracket, steel insert for the mounts and the two 3/4" bolts that go into the case. I didn't see the longer bolts that run through the mounts.
