I am puting together a truck for a winter DD and summer camping rig. I have a 80 3/4 ton long box with the sm465/205/rear slipyoke to use. It will be running 33's or maybe 35's with a 56" spring/shackle flip rear suspension.

I haven't messed with a slip yoke case before.

What is the usable slipyoke travil? What drive shaft angle/lift height would you say I should stay under? I can run a limiting strap if necesary.

Thanks
ROB

I'm using about 5.5" of lift in the back and have had no problems. I did tilt the case down a little, maybe 3/4", to cure some vibes. No travel issues, but I don't jump my truck, so I doubt both rear wheels get stuffed or drooped at the same time.
