I have 205 transfer case with a 47 R transfer. I need to know what the linkages look like and where to buy them, because the previous owner Jery rig it up. Please send pictures. Thanks! Dave

Stupid figures 205 transfer case

I for one am confused, you have a 205 transfer case with a 700r4 transmission? 47R is a Dodge transmission and your title says 204 transfer case.

I’m assuming that you are talking about external linkage parts ?

There were a few changes over the years of types of connector link bars and “S” links as well as shifters.

Pics of what you have will help?

Need pics of your T-case shift rails and whatever linkage that is there?

Is this a Dodge 205 or a GM 205 - what year is the case from ?
Do you have any type of shifter ?

Good pics will clear all this up and make it easier to help.

Here’s a pic of a factory Dodge ( ‘89~’93 ) NP205 linkage but that may not be needed in a Blazer body.

Looks like gm t bar. Have to marry the gm t bar to dodge shifter mounting. I didnt see a bolt boss on t case adapter like gm would use

Simple solution is to twin stick it :D
Or maybe a good aftermarket morse cable set up
Going with an aftermarket shifter setup is most likely going to be the path of least resistance for you.

The factory GM shifters need a pivot mounting location and it appears that the Dodge shifter uses the body as a mounting point ( note: CHICKNTRK has set it straight about the Dodge mounting for the shifter - see below ) - either way you will be fabricating to make it work.

If needed I can get a picture of just the shifter tomorrow, I have one not in a truck. Was this Cummins and trams from a first gen Dodge? Because if it was from a 94-01 it came with a 241 and not a 205 so I’m not sure the mounting holes for the shifter would be machined into the case. If your shifter has a bracket that attaches to the floor of the truck it’s from a 94-98 Dodge, as the 89-93 all bolted to the transmission.

It's from 89 w250. No brackets. The guy just had a straight stock out of the shifter hole.
