have a th350 / 208 in the blazer, just got a 241 that came off a th350(700r4 not 350) as well but didnt come with the adapter. is the one that i have on the truck the same or do i need a 241 specific?
i've tried looking but obviously i'm a tardo.

sure its off a th350 and not a th400? no 241s came on th350s because I dont think they used them them but I may be wrong. Should be the same as a 700r4 if one was ever made 89-91. Is it vss or mechanical speedo?

I'm pretty sure the TH350/208 adapter is different than a 700R4/241 adapter. I can tell you that the 700/241 adapter is about 3-4" in length if you need to do a comparison of what you currently have.

If you already have a TH350/208 and the adapter then the 241 will bolt right up in place of the 208.

Oh Lordy and the different opinions!

I have a th350/208 under the truck now. So the 241 I have off a 700r4 will for sure bolt up to the spot previously used by the 208??

Not being rude I just don't wanna get my hopes up again prematurely

Thanks guys

Bringing this back up as now i'm thinking bout swapping over to the 241 before i get the sye kit. So it'll bolt up to the trans but whatabout the shifter linkage and what not?
Will all of that stuff just bolt right up from the 208 to the 241?

I realize the easiest way to determine this stuff is to climb my ass under there and figure it out. But i dont wanna pull the 208 right now unless itll just be a easy bolt in project.

Thanks in advance guys.
