231 Doubler

That's freakin awesome! Thank you for posting that, now I know how I'm shifting my t-case. I was checking out that link for the cables, is a 3" stroke needed or a 4" stroke?

Not sure, and I bet its difficult info to find on the net. Maybe someone else will chime in?

yeah, i might become a pirate vendor here soon, its kinda expensive for a small business. its more than twice what this site is.

For the rear out put, I dont think you need even 2 inches, it doesnt move very much. Its almost impossible for my me to grab neutral with the rear output, I usually shift through it because its so close. I am not sure on the front output, but I think 3 inches is about what I have, I can measure it for ya if you would like. The 203 needs the most stroke out of all of them for sure.

If you could measure that would be great. Just measure the stroke on the cables your using. If I can get them for $30-45 ea, I'm just going to make my own bracket and save myself some money

Looks like d.d. machine will no longer be a pirate vendor :(

Just a little update on D.D. Machine, i just got off the phone with him regarding his doubler kits, and he is infact still making them and has some 241's and 231 kits on the shelf. Duffy, the owner, is a very knowledgiable guy when it comes to transfercases and trannys. Anyways, just thought i would share that there is still hope for a reasonable 231/241 doubler kit out there..

he could definately make some coin off of it, but customers might not want to put up w/ his turn-around time when they go outta stock. I think that is why he left pirate b/c customers were complaining to much.. but it would be worth his interest.

Buying a vendor membership on Pirate is almost 3x as much as here, so that may be attractive to d&d.

Of course, so many people here are set on a 203/205 doubler that it could be tough to make it worthwhile.
