241 transfer case tailshaft

I just broke a driveshaft and the tailshaft of the 241(pass. drop) transfer case is split completely off from the case. Please let me know if you have one and cost shipped to 32534.

Good luck on finding one man. I broke the piece that the sensor is in and it was discontinued from GM. Found a decent used one and swapped a guy for it.

Just the housing/tail section the shaft seems to be fine.

ive got a 241 that im going to be sye'n, do you need the part im taking off?

Change the shaft too. I will almost bet it is tweaked just a bit. I tweaked one years ago and it just cracked the output housing. Changed the housing only to find the shaft was just tweaked a hair.

where did you find the shaft cracked?

My shaft was not cracked, just the housing around one of the bolt holes. The shaft was just bent a little bit. Not enough to notice untill I put the driveshaft in. I'm betting if you did enough damage to shatter the output housing then the shaft is tweaked.
