...rear bumper reinforced... ff14b spiders welded and put back together... side mirror for tube door installed... tailgate speader bar thingy painted...

Grinding done, still leaking oil. Swear I smelled coolant, can't find any leaking though. most of the check list done, most not. /forums/images/icons/shocked.gif Truck at cage builders. /forums/images/icons/confused.gif Need sleep badly.

old 1/2 ton front end stuff completely removed, zero rates added, ORD HD front shackles installed...

Finished my floors, seats are in, wiring done, Hi-Lift mounted, built and installed the spare tire holder so now it's time to load, finish the trailer stuff and check out the tow van. More to go but I'm really close I think /forums/images/icons/crazy.gif . Hang in there Greg &amp; everyone, you'll get er done.

Finally got mine finished in the Residence Inn parking lot yesterday. Had to get it mobile where I could move from TX to CO. Pulling it off the trailer I found out that my inner wheel seal on the 14b is out. /forums/images/icons/frown.gif Replace that, and I am ready to go!!! /forums/images/icons/grin.gif /forums/images/icons/cool.gif /forums/images/icons/smile.gif /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

Three Days to go and.............



IT"S ALIVE!!!!!




Started up the new engine last night for the first time about 9pm (the neighbors loved us! /forums/images/icons/shocked.gif ) and it looks like we have good oil pressure at the top of the engine this time!!

The front clip is re-installed, so it looks like a truck again, and I feel like it's coming together nicely. But there is still quite a bit to do:

Install new tires on wheels....can't drive to Moab on 29" tires!
Get 14BFF Re-geared for 4.10s to match front D60
Finish installing brake lines on D60
Install F*RD shock towers on front to hold 9012 Ranchos
Install CB
Install Front Recovery Point, and Bumper
Trim Fenders (ALL)
Create a rear recovery point if time allows...


I'm sure there's more to do, but the MAJOR stuff on the list (that HAS to be completed) is almost all done now. I still have all day today (Sunday) and all day tomorrow, and probably 1/2 day on Tuesday to resolve any last-minute bugs.

I leave for the axle shop/tire shop in the next few minutes....it will be the first time my truck has been off jackstands and out of the garage since July 4th weekend (about 45 days!)
