I know of two here in Fort Smith, one being mine. I have seen one on 3/4 ton and 35 boggers up in Fayetteville.

Justin I've been meaning to ask you about your Blazer. Are your doors operational? That clearance between the front fender and the passenger door looks tight and almost "too perfect". The clearance on mine is double that space.

Fully operational. I have even stepped out a few times when it was flexed to take some cell phone pics.
If you dont mind me askin, where did you find it and how much did you give for yours. I think you got tha best lookin rig on CK5.

thought I would bring this to the top for my soon to be rig.
Here are some pics, its a 74 full vert that I am picking up in San Diego. I am buying it from a member here on CK5 as well. In the original ad, it says it has 35k miles on it, and hopefully so, wont be shocked if it doesn't though. But for certain, I know its rust free, straight, and just needs a little attention to the interior before its immaculate. Flying out Dec 14th or around that time to pick it up and drive it back to Texas.

Thanks man, same to you, I have definitely checked out your album on more than one occasion to drool over your blazer.
I have been wondering since seeing the pics in your album, did you have those diamond tread rails custom made, or did they come with your blazer when you bought it? I am guessing they get put on when the top comes off to cover up the holes in the bed rails.
They're just diamond plate bed rail caps for a '73-'87 shortbed truck. All I did was cut them down a few inches, drill holes in them and put some sticky foam on the underside (to protect my paint). Then just use the fiberglass top bolts to bolt them down. Works great.
The main reason I use them is because the paint job underneath where the top sits is chipped a bit and looks ugly. The chrome bedrail caps take care of that.

Appearently all the 2nd gens are out west. In the last few years I have seen one 2nd gen on the road, other than mine. I have a 67 chevelle also, and I see way more of them than the blazer.

Its too bad it has a little rust, still doesnt look bad. I haven't ever seen a bright green paint scheme, much less with the original woodgrain still on it in such good shape. The only place I have even seen that bright green was on an old ad that is floating around that shows all the paint colors that were available. Nice truck though.
Here is another clean original that is around San Diego that looks like its in good shape. Not sure if its missing the front clip, or just off in the pictures though. Kinda high on price if its missing the front clip.

I am not sure what is more rare, a 1973 - '75 K5, or a 1977 - '87 K30 regular cab pickup. I look for both constantly. I see a few of each every year.
