did GM make different spring rated springs for the front of 2wd IFS's? or are there aftermarket springs that are slightly taller to help level a truck. they would be for a 76 C30.

There are lift/leveling kits out there. Fabtech is a big name in 2wd lifts. Look around, most stores carry them. as far as factory spring rates, you likely already have the heaviest duty ones they made. Big block in the truck? Not sure if that makes a difference like it does in cars.

You can back into a higher spring rate if you have, or have access to a Moog Chassis Parts book (or similar). My Moog book lists the spring rates and dimensions in the numerical spring p/n listing.

call state spring in GR and they can tell you what the spring rates and heights, i think they can even make a set that is taller.

ill see if i can find their number.

GM used different coils in at least the early 90s. All the way from itsy bitsy coils found on the 4.3L W/Ts to the monsters found on C3500 duallies that made my 77's 3/4" diameter coils look like a mousetrap spring.

You also might want to look at 93up Dodges. I don't know if they're the same size or not but I know they used a bunch of different ones. My neighbor has a couple sets of springs left over after putting plows on and taking them off.
