2WD or not

Lol learned a lot since I made this thread..
So I’ve learned you can have just as much fun and go almost as fast as any 2wd normal guys can build and afford.. just need good controlled travel like @ktmoutfront said..
big shocks, decent wheel travel 13+ and go have fun and not sit around talking about how fun it would be to have fun..

I agree and don't agree. You can go decently fast with Good 12" shocks, you just need air bumps to help those big hits. Dueling and SBD blazers are very good examples. Hopefully mine follows suit.

That’s in the noise for travel, I think the big thing like you said is the control.. damped and sprung you can do a lot with 8 inches it’ll just be more stiff the less wheel travel because it has less time to disperse the hit.

I want a cheap 2wd beater desertish truck. somewhat like that yellow one on 33s

79 Corvette
68 Stevens flat bottom
69 Buick Wildcat
99 frankenliner

Too many projects needing my attention.

And the 78 vw van, but it is a paying job.

No idea. Just drove by and saw it. And to to KOH19. I think I am out for a couple of years.

I could probably find something locally but its not in the cards right now. I feel like I don't want to go but will probably end up going, maybe volunteer to see what that is like. I would like to just go and wheel the area too without all the people

Phil and I were talking about that. It is nice when nobody is there.
