Junk the 1/2ton POS truck for a 4wd HD model, strait axle it, keep the same heigth lift, junk the 49's for some 38-40's, junk the stupid 20" EVO weld dubs for some 16.5x14's... and I'd like it. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Pretty cool show truck. I would drive it around. How many people can roll 49's? I don't see why everyone is trashing it, he has a lot of work in to it. Maybe he has a blazer at home with 49's also.

Alot of work? He bolted on an IFS lift and some rear blocks and put 49's on it?

Willys, Branndon....Lay off the guy, who cares if the guy knows absolutely nothing or not, for all we know he may be a hi performance shop owner and could tell you the pinion preload of a 7.5" ford rearend or something. Who knows. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif I know I don't and neither do you.

I think it would be cool if it was an 4WD HD and not 49's but thats me...good for him if he likes a 2wd 1/2ton on 49's. /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

By the looks of he he probably doesnt have ANY work into it. He probably has alot of MONEy iunto it but I doubt he did any of that himself.

hey, its a 2wd. never started out as anything usable in an offroad sense, so i dont see the problem with it. helluva lot better than the 4x4 F-250 on 49s around town

Those are the Cheyenne 6s I wanted them, then after a few shows I noticed EVERYONE with 49s had them.

Why does everyone keep saying it's a 2wd? Yes it may be pointless to put it in 4wd but it is a 4wd truck none the less.

And RJF, I never said the guy didn't know anything, that was someone else. I just said he basically bolted an IFS lift on, rear drop hangers, and tires. I never even said I didn't like the truck... It has minimal lift and some good cutting going on. He could have put 20" of lift on it and had about 7 shocks per corner but he didn't, I'm proud of him for that...

Well, I think it LOOKS cool. He even cut out some of the bumper so the truck is not higher than the top of the tire. (I hate when people lift thier truck way higher than they need to instead of doing a litttle cutting) But I do not like the functionality of it at all, or should I say LACK of functionality. Can you say new ring and pinion every other week?

It is 4WD, 2WD don't have trosion bars, let alone dropped brackets...do they? I thought the 2WD have coils in the front.

Well it sure as hell dosent look like a 4WD To ME,

dosent look like it has any hubs,
or axle shafts
and looks like it has no t case

So yeah it looks cool, nice tires, but whats it good for?

doing exactly what his is doing with it now, "Look at me am cool"

sorry I thought it was a 2wd when I posted it. I just didn't see a diff or anything in the front it is a 6 lug though are the new Chevy 2WD still 5 lug?
