Feel free to do it if it makes you feel like more a man

Timmay was in the real truck challenge.

Also used to be a person friend. But man the members here will understand why you deserve that name. It just is beyond me , for you to have the audacity to say that Ryoken has done nothing in 2 years. It is also disappointing to see that Avery said yes he agrees.

I have been a member of this website for quiet some time Sometime is Mid 04. I have come , and gone a few times , but sadly it is because I enjoyed the tech more on pirate. Why you ask? Because if you posted the shlt you do in general 4x4 you would be ripped a new one. Especially after the commentary towards the Veterans . Oh well maybe one day you grow up , and learn it is cooler to do stuff on your own , and take help . Rather than take credit for stuff your dad has done . But also the mark of a truly smart person is learning from others , and their mistakes. That is all everyone is trying to do here. I digress , and say that it is your choice , and your life. If you choose to listen props to you if not. I hope you don't kill anyone during the time you will take to figure out you were wrong.

Whats comical is the fact that you've been working on your truck for 2 years and haven't really accomplished much

Lets see what you've made, besides some simple sheet metal I haven't seen anything, mostly just bolt ons

Quoted for truth... this'll be entertaining...

What? I'm all for Ryoken's build... I never said I agree'd with howdiy...

Those are your words or are they not?

Ohhh... the old "quoted for truth" line is used in forums sometimes so that say 10 minutes later he changed his mind and edited that post the original text would still be in the quote of my post...
Eliminates backtracking/confusion...

I have posted stuff in pirate general 4x4

Sadly you cannot just give up grudges, thats really what this is about.

Thanks for the entertainment, you really show what a pathetic human being you are.

As for growing up, I recall someone dishing out pathetic insults saying that they hope I die in a crash from my cracked frame.

And I guess saying that my dad did all of this is a compliment, thanks for that.

I don't have time to have a grudge. I am to busy working , and running a business. It just bothers me how ignorant you are. And I assume based on how people have responded in this thread I am not the only one. All I hope for is someday you grow up , and realize your wrong. That and in the process I hope you don't kill anyone.

Please tell me what I'm being ignorant about

And you seem to have plenty of time for a grudge, and have proven it in the past.

And what do I need to realize I'm wrong about?

Did you see my questions? Please inform me about what I am ignorant about so I can better myself

About listening to anyone. Like say boxing the front of the frame rails. Maybe beef up your front mounts . And your totally ghetto steering arms. Kinda like you did not respond when I mentioned the arms you pictured. Because laminate , and cast are totally different. But I will keep reading.
By the way I have done a 2x4 to 4x4 conversion . ;)

As I've said time and time againtthe brackets are not done and the frame will be braced with a crossmember and some gussets

Laminate and cast are indeed different things, please explain to me how cast iss stronger, I have never seen steel crack like cast iron.

As far as doing a 2x4 to 4x4 conversion, that is fantastic, but kind if irrelevant. Feel free to post some pics if you want to

It's probably not the best, but I won't be wheeling for awhile so it will be more than enough to steer it around the garage

And also I'll bend the drag link like ORD does theirs, that should help a lot

But I may actually end up getting ballistic fabs kit, it's 130 bucks with the new king pin bushings, and the studs

Ok thanks for answering my question. As I said above I am all about thinking out of the box and making things myself.

I think picking up one of the vendors kits would be a great idea and "steering done right" is always a good thing. I like the draglink pictured above. The bend is close to the pitman arm. That really helps with crossmember clearance on low lift applications. I had Sky bend mine closer than normal.

Lets try and get this thread back on track. Ok he is doing some questionable things, but says he has work-arounds. HOWDIY I am sure you can't be serious putting down Ryokens work:confused: There are a lot of Veterans here..I guess you could say I am one of them that has been here since 01. These guys giving you advice and trying to help are pretty knowledgeable and it would be best to at least take note to what they are saying. Just my .02 :wink1:

I would like to see how this turns out. If it fails miserably then lesson learned I guess. Lets get back to the build.

I think if the draglink were closer to leavel it would look right. That nut is not tightened down either it appears

No, look closer. The tie rod stud is not perpendicular to the surface where the nut would seat. It doesn't matter what the angle of the drag link is - the arm is on upside-down on the wrong side. The nut should be seating on the opposite surface.

I do listen to people that have been there and done it before, just depends on how the present it. Like your post I definitely take it all into consideration.

And I'm serious about ryokens work, he needs to get of his high horse

I don't know what brand is that steering arm, but it is probably spot faced on the bottom. We can't see the spot face because of the camera angle.

Here is the build thread where that pic came from.

Can Can- 1

Abortion of a thread- 0

Try again, but this time rinse the sand out of your manginas before you post up.

And Howdiy, if you REALLY can't see where you went wrong in this thread, I may as well permanently ban you now.............:deal:

Use your head for more than growing hair.:surepal:
