I have a set of 3/4 ton axles originally out of an 86' GMC pickup and then spent the last year under my 88' K5. They are 8 lug with 3.73 gears.

Asking $300 or possible trade for passenger drop NP241, depending on condition, but really need the cash and space right now.

The front 10 bolt needs brakes done and I have not pulled the drums on the rear to check them. I was running these under my K5 as a daily driver with no issues. I finally saved enough $$$ to step up to tons and now I just have these sitting in the driveway. They spent their entire life in southwest CO so there is no deep pitting or rust issues.

The front comes with all the factory steering up to the drag link and it does have a raised steering arm. The rear will need new rigid brake lines.

I would prefer local pickup or meet within reason. I will consider shipping if you do all the arrangements. I can pallet and haul to UPS ground / FedEX ground loading dock if necessary.

I'll try to take some pics and post them in the next day or two.

Some Pics. Also included is the 4WD steering box that was on my rig. It was leaking a bit (added about a quart every 3 months). Good core or rebuildable unit.

Also have the factory sway bar w/ drop down brackets.

Again, all of this stuff was on my daily driver until about 2 months ago when I upgraded axles and steering.

If anyone west of CO is interested I may be able to deliver around Thanksgiving. I will be heading to southern CA to see family and I would deliver anywhere around I-70 west of CO or along I-15 south from Utah to California.

Free delivery as long as it's not too far off of our route. Just need a way to unload.

Any takers before the scrap yard gets em?

I'm open to offers. I don't need these sitting around all winter getting rusty, so if nobody wants to make me an offer soon, I'll see what the scrap yard will give me for them :dunno:. I'm open to offers as long as it is comparable to what the salvage or scrap yard will give me. I'm not desperate, but I just don't want them sitting around taking up space any more.

Before you junk it let me know. I wouldnt mind having the lift arm, 8 lug backing plates and the hubs and spindles if price plus shippings not too high. Dont really need the discs or the calipers.

These are still for sale. Lost contact with my potential buyer. Goin to the scrap yard in the spring when the snow is gone.

Kansastwister, I'll pull your parts before taking the rest to scrap, unless they sell.

I'm thinking on these hard. I want em, but just bought brand new tires and wheels so I'd have to sale and re-buy.....

If it helps, I'm considering a different rim size and may have my wheels for sale soon. They are 16" eagle alloys, that same ones that were on those axles before I swapped to tons. You can look through my build and see what they look like.

Where are you located?

Yeah I like those wheels. What kind of package price do you have in mind? And I'm in N Mississippi

Haven't thought much about it yet. The wheels ran me about $160 new, I guess I gotta consider how bad I want to sell them.

In regards to buying anything of mine, have you considered what shipping might run from Colorado out to you? I want to sell my stuff, but I don't want to see you pay more than it's all worth just because of shipping :dunno:. Either way, I'll try to work with you.

Doug,
I do still have the axles. I was just at Recla metals last week getting a scrap price for them. I can sit on them for a week or so if you want to come look at them.

I'll respond to your email and send you some contact info.

No, thank you Brian. Jake's so excited about those axles I thought he was gonna pee himself on the drive home.:thumb:
