I'm looking at buying some axles out of a 73 blazer they are 8 lugs and he says there are Dana 60 rear and 44 front completely stock with open diff. and 4:10 gears for $500. What do you guys think a good deal?

Dunno. I got a rotted out truck with sm465/np205, D44/14BFF 4.10s and 4" lift for $400. I would try to talk him down a bit. But depending on your area that may be normal price.

Blazers did not come with 3/4 ton axles. If they are really 8-lug, then they are not "stock" for the vehicle. I donno about the price though....You could probably find them cheaper at the next pick-n-pull 1/2 price weekend in Oakland. I donno if you'll find the ratio you want though.

Maybe this guy don't know the diffrence between a Blazer and a Suburban. I really would like to have a D60 front Instead of the 44. I think I'll keep looking and hopefully come across a 1ton truck cheap.

keep looking

a whole parts k20 rig without engine maybe would be less than that much
