3 leaf stock front springs- how do they ride?

It's a block, crank, and rods from a 1990 IROC, a set of Speed Pro forged flat tops, (I bought the short block disassembled for $200) and now an LT1 camshaft, Vortec heads, Speedway generic 1.5 roller rockers, and a GMPP TBI intake. Previously it had ported TBI heads and an LT4 Hot Cam with stocker rockers and intake. It also has some crappy cheap headers and 2.5" dual exhaust.

what are you running for a controller on that? custom burnt chip in a stock ecm?
how is da power? it sounds like a good combo.

Stock ECM, stock PROM. Right now I need to do a little finish work on the last round of modifications, but I am having a hard time finding the ambition. I would like to strap it down on a dyno and have a custom chip burned for it. Maybe some day.

lol, back to leaves in the front
I have a 5 leaf pack off a 3/4 truck in my K5. It raised it about 2-3 inches. Out back is the matching 3/4 pack with a 2.5" block. I think it rides fine. Harsh offroad though

An OEM 5 pack on the front of a 3/4 ton? I have never seen one. Odd, I thought they were all 2 or 3 spring packs.

unless I counted wrong
main leaf + 4 leaves below it, smallest is about 18-20" long or so
stock length, stock hangers w/ rivets
was told the springs are all off of the same truck my axles are, 79 3/4
I'll try to get a pic when it's light out

lol What they hell are they hahahahha
stupid PO, I knew that moron didn't install the axles or leaf springs

any idea?

Looks like a lift spring to me. Red polys, doesn't actually indicate anything. Just a clue. Clamps that wrap around the leaf pack are the bigger indicator.

never would have known that, hmmm
this is my first 4x4
well they ride good lol
dammit

I think that's about what my BDS springs look like, except they have a little more arch because they are 4 inch springs.
