Here are a couple pics of the driver side. I made the mounts out of 1" pipe because I don't have a right size die for making them from tube. I used the old Harbor Freight pipe kinker which does dent the pipe when doing tight bends. I also had to make it in 2 pieces becasue of using the pipe bender you can't put 2 90 degree bends that close together. Being that it is a shock mount I don't see any problems with it and these would be very simple to reproduce with tube and a bender. The lower and upper shock mounts came from DIY4X and the shocks from Poly Performance. I only have 3" front springs so that is why they need to be mounted as high as they are. This set up is also easy to modify for both hight and axle location. I limited up travel to around 4 1/2" and about 9" of drop. I figured in about 1 1/2" for the bumpstop being compressed. What you can't see to well in the pics is the extra bracing I added to limit the flex of the mounts. Also in pic 2 you see my shackle angle. I used DIY4x's front shackle hanger but it comes with bushings to do the 52" front spring swap and are to narrow and I didn't feel like using the thick washers to make it work. I took an old BDS bushing that was just a touch to big to fit and turned it dow to fit in the hangers. Each side has it's own set of problems to work around. The driver side has all the steering crap and the passenger side will have to work around the battery tray and the stock air cleaner tube. I should have pics of the passenger side in a few days when it is done.
That's gonna be some serious droop!
