'83 K5 w/ Manual Trans:

'88 Burb w/ Manual Trans (and barn doors!):

'84 C10:

I was reading the ad for that 83 K5. I love how people think these trucks only have 89k miles on them because that's what the odometer says. It's most likely 189k which is why the motor was rebuilt.

How bad is the rust out there? The Suburban peaks my interest.

They both have some rust issues going off the pics. I tried steering him towards the Sub and he is considering it but wants to look at the 83 K5 first. Rust wise we seem to have rigs from very little rust to Fred Flintstone stuff. There is so many people moving to Colo and bringing rigs with them it's like a box of chocolates.

eesh, this reminds me that my older friend next to the marina wants to sell his one owner 77....... "mmmmmmmmm, roundeye..." :haha:

probably pretty rusty tho.. I could probably pick it up pretty cheap, but i have enough projects already....

I kick myself for not snagging the crew cab and camper from you. You wouldn't happen to have anymore? lol

I would like the suburban, but I'm done with rusty vehicles, unless it's minor. It has everything I'm looking for with the barn doors etc. @Fastereddie want to take a road trip?

I sold the CC but I do still have the motorhome. I haven't really been trying to sell it but would.

The FWC for the blazer is what I missed.

My bad, Yes I still have an extra FWC. It is actually on my 91 K5 that I use for a daily driver. Still for sale but not really trying to sell it.

If you don't mind shoot me a message with the price. It's probably good your not trying I feel the same way about buying, just wondering if it would be doable. I also have a guy here that's looking for one and can get you his number.
Honestly a suburban would be better for what I do as far as camping/racing etc. The camper changes what I can do.

and then?
We are still looking. His budget is a bit limited and he is wanting a dual purpose camping/light wheeling rig.

I have thought a bit about needing a bit more room in the Crawlabago and how it would be cool to maybe put a FWC on a Suburban. Proportion wise it would take quite a bit of work to make it look good but I think it could be done. The extra room/seating would be nice to have for sure.
