Wanted 30-spline FRT & RR Posi-Units and Axles for 88 K5

Looking to replace 28-spline 8.5" open carriers (front and rear) with posi-units and upgrade to 30-spline axles at the same time.

This is for an '88 K5 Blazer with 6-lug wheels.

It's my understanding that 8.6" will work with the right bearings.Please correct me if I'm wrong!

Will consider either size if they will both work.

I scrapped my housings with the carrier and gears.
I should have one or 2 sets of shafts in 30 spline.
If you find a carrier and need the shafts let me know

I have the front 30 spline inner axles and at least one 30 spline posi. I believe the posi is a Yukon dura-grip. You are correct on running a large hub 10 bolt carrier with a common conversion bearing in a small bearing housing.
