How can you tell the differance between a 350 and a 454 TBI injector?
Thanks, Ed
Thanks, Ed

I had Witchhunter clean and flow test my 454 injectors and the OEM number 5235231 is still visible on the top as it was before (you needed a magnifying glass to see it before and after). They DO NOT take any portion of the injector apart, they are simply cleaned in an ultrasonic machine then flow tested.
Is there a GM before the numbers?
I’m going to get a magnifying glass, I think I see them.
Yes, i believe mine says GM 5235231 RPD
(2)Are you sure that the TBI injectors are not disassembled? WitchHunter’s web site says “The parts are now disassembled by removing the pintle cap, o-rings, filters, and spacers. Now back to the parts washer to clean the areas now exposed”
All of those parts are external. You cannot take the injectors apart. I would not trust the company that sold you the injectors. Even IF someone was able to take them apart WHY would someone swap internal parts and put them in a different housing? It's not like the housing can get damaged in any way with ordinary use. If you had a 454 injector just clean/rebuild and sell it with the CORRECT CORRESPONDING GM injector number on it.
Back Flushing:
Once the injector has been cleaned ultrasonically, all units are individually back flushed to remove the broken dirt particles. These particles can not be removed thru the injection orifices so they are driven out thru the inlet of the injector.
Reverse Flow Pressure Cleaning:
(This extra step is very critical, especially on all GM Injectors). All injectors are then mounted on the flow bench in an inverted position allowing them to reverse flow at a considerable pressure. We run a high performance injector cleaning solvent thru the injectors for 30 minutes, completing the cleaning process. This process assures us that all dirt particles completely removed from the injector. No other company performs this procedure.
855cc/min is about 81 lb/hr injector.
When you call the AUS company ask them to show you pictures of a TBI injector taken apart. I'll bet they can't provide or won't provide a pic for you.
could you tell me what lb/hr stand for?
