350 Making oil

OK guys still got proplems, I was still getting fuel in the oil after changing pumps, so I got a kit for the q jet, with a new float and new filter. I found that the carb had water in it, and was dirty. With the new kit installed it seems to run better, but I still can`t get my choke to work and the idle mixture screws are alittle confusing. Here is my questions,1st , How do I get water out of the fuel. 2nd,What is the setting for the idle mixture screws, book says 1and1/2 turns, i`ve read on here 2and1/2 turns? Finally could I remove the choke alltogether, and maybe make it manual? THANKS for any advice or opinions on any of my questions.

Fuel in the oil is from a bad fuel pump diaphragm.

If that not it, then you need to rebuild your Quadratoilet. while your at it, use some fuel-proof sealant on the little plug(s) in the bottom of the fuel bowl, it's an old mechanics trick I learned back when I used to make my living that way.
Let me guess, if you let the truck sit for more than a night or two, its real slow to fire up when starting?

I just finished the rebuild two days ago,I didn`t know about the sealant trick though.I haven`t seen the oil level rise yet.
