1987 Chevrolet K10 350 TBI. I broke one of the air injection lines that go into the manifold and through the smog pump. Would it hurt anything if I just removed all of it and plugged the holes in the manifold? I no longer have a catalytic converter.

I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT REMOVING THE EGR. JUST THE AIR INJECTION.

You might have a code at some point but it will run

I think the ecm can only see the diverter valve coil resistance, or load. If you left the diverter valve plugged in,and rucked outta the way ecm wouldn't know the rest of the system was gone.
