I swapped my 350 in my 92 chevy pickup with a 454. I changed the sensors that needed to be changed and I got a custom chip burnt but it still won't run right. It has really high idle (1700 rpm) and when I put it in gear it just hunts and it has no throttle response. I've tried almost everthing I can think of and I'm pretty well out of ideas. Anybody done this before and can help me. I'd really appreciate any help or ideas.

Injectors are different for the two engines. With the BB on SB injectors it would be lean and that could be causing your high idle. A computer swap may be necessary but im not sure about that. Have you hooked up to a scanner and watched the data? That will tell you a lot.

Another thing you could try is use this web sites search function using the term "IAC".
