For my K10 Chevy truck I am asking for the easiest way to R&R the Flexplate. Is it possible to slide the Transmission and Transfer case back,
after drivelines are removed, to obtain enough clearance to change the Flexplate?

I've replaced a few by just sliding the tranny back on longer bolts in the bellhousing, after removing the transfer case and tranny mounting bolts...you only need about 2" clearance to get at the bolts using a box end or gear wrench and to get the new flexplate in there..some guys prefer to lift the engine up off the mounts and slide it forward instead and leave the driveline unmolested..either way works, though it is a bit harder to do working with limited clearance, beats pulling the whole drive train out though..
