36x12.5 tires on 12" rims

anyone see a prob mounting 36x12.5x16.5 Hummer tires on 16.5x12 rims?

It's gonna look terrible. I have 35" x14.50" tires on 12" rims and I wish I went with 10" rims.

uhhhh yes. I wouldn't go any wider then a 9.75 rim. What are trying to do? Hold the record for popping a tire off the rim the most times?

I have a few stock width 16.5" rims I'll trade you for that fuel filter bracket.

as long as there a true 12.5 I like the look you will have a stright sidewall, the only 1 problem you might ever have is since there 16.5 and on a wide wheel you cant air down as much because you will blow a bead

afroman, Id be all over that but these are 5 on 5.5 rims, i still need to check on that bracket, been way busy lately havent made it by my storage

I've heard it is quite the bitch to find 5 lug 16.5" wheels. One guy in my club had this problem and he ended up welding the middle out of a set of 5 lug wheels into a 16.5" rim. It looks horrible and scary but held up on the trail until he ripped the pinion off his 9". I'll get a pic of the wheels if I see his truck again but good luck in your search.

It's that 16.5 thing that makes me
