Sooo my wheels and tires are in sooner than I expected. American Racing Renegades and Trxus MT's. Anyway I won't be able to throw new gears in for a couple of weeks anyway. How sluggish is this setup for the real world? Oh yeah we're talking about a tired 350 TBI. Thanks guys.

Seriously pokie....A Bronco could beat you. However, once you finally get up to speed....watchout! :D

Just wait until you get the new gears installed. You'll probably mock it up to look at it anyways but it's gonna be REAL slow. Hope you've got a twin stick...rear wheel drive low range might come into play. :D

That's what I've got right now. It's not that bad, but I have a fresh motor.

I would say mathematically and seat of the pants, it is the same as 3.08s and 33s.

I have 37's on my 90 with 3.73's and it cruises fine. I never use OD until I'm over 80 on the speedo (91 on the GPS) and the cool thing is that I can do 70 up grades in second that I couldn't hold 60 with the 32's in third. I have the 5.13's on the shelf and one day will get them in.

Thanks for the info guys. I figure 5.13's is the way I'll be going too, I just haven't decided if I should bother throwing them into my front 10bolt and see how long that lasts or limp along with 3.73's until I can afford a D60. I'll be picking the wheels and tires on Tuesday and doing A LOT of fender trimming!
