38.5 super swampers on/ new question end of page 3

How much I dont know. I only do mud , theres not to many trails around me with rocks. So we will see tomorrow how much i will need to trim.

Nice and low. Good to have the low center of gravity with low lift. Yeah, some fender trimming will be in order soon. Looks good.

awwww dont trim just get the sledge out and smack the fender behind the front tire, itll work and still look good lmao
nice lookin blazer dawg
do you rub when you turn, just turn the wheel and start jackin up and smackin till it dont hit no more, beatin the body up urself is always funner than cuttin it up:haha:

Hey guys I was just out cruising for about an hour and it bearly rubs at full lock, so yea a lil triming will be in order. MAn I love the look in the eyes of all the Ricers out here looks like they poop there pants when they drive next to me lol:haha:. I love how how it feels now alot better then the 33s and 31s.
and she still has the get up and go im used too.

I'm gonna be running 4 inchs and 38.5s too, how does it do with the 4.10s? I've got the axles and tires under mine, but am still working on some brake issues. We have amazingly similar drivetrains, TBI to 700r4 to 14bolt/10bolt with 4.10s and 38.5s.

WOW. Well to tell you the truth with the 4.10s she can still put me in my seat and blow away all the ricers out here. so to tell you the truth its awsome.

700r4 and 38.5's, and 4:10's? That'd have to be a dog... Thats 4:56's minimum, if not 4:88's or 5:13's... Go take a peak at the gear calculators...

Ryoken Dave (AKA dirtyjim) sold me these axles and said they had 4.10s. With me, my girl, and my bestfriend all in the truck it still puts all of use in our seats when i give it gas. I will take a look at the gears and calculate it later today But im pretty sure its 4.10s I dont think he would sell me 3/4 ton axles with 4.56s for 400 bucks.

BTW love the avatar

A decent TBI 350 with a 700r4's first gear and torque converter can carry 38's with only 4.10's pretty nicely .

Not that much different than 3.08s and 33's , or 35's with 3.73's .

Then i must have a strong 700r4 and a killer 350 tbi caz my old axles has 2.73s and i had 33x12.50r15s and i could spin them like noting and fly down back roads like noting.

eh, far from optimum imo... 36's and 3:73's is certain death for a 700r4 imo... heck, I run 32's with 3:73's, and would like a little more gear... 4:10's would be good for 33's..

I know alot get by on 4:10's and 35's, OK.. But I still feel 4:56's and up are more desirable...

Oh, I'm not doubting it's 4:10's... Not so sure about that 2:73 on the old ones tho, sure it wasn't 3:73's? very common...

I'd also have to figure with 38's and 4:10's, your rarely gonna see OD... Hope you got a cooler on that tranny....

And thanks, yeah, I'm digging the MadCat shot... :wink1:
