i couldnt help myself. the tires where just sitting there saying " install me" and since the k5 still needs an engine..... this is what happens.

before pics and some close ups

I used to have a pic of a blazer with 44" tires and 2" lift, and that truck was wheeled.
It even looked like the fenders were not touched but the guy had seriously massaged them stretching the opening and redoing all the edges.
That truck made me think that I should be able to put any size I want with no or very little lift.
But your truck will need to lose some more to be able to steer on a no flat street.:D

I used to have 38.5 TSL SXs on my crewcab with a 4" lift and still got into the front fenders over speed bumps...

Can you even steer all the way? The nice thing about no lift here is that the springs can hardly stuff before hitting the bump stops.

i cant turn right all the way due to the drag link end. i still need to adjust the steering stop a little.

they barely rub during normal driving. they rub on the inner fender on smooth spots (front and rear of it) so atleast it wont damage the tires.

i might get some zero rates and maybe a 1" longer shackle for 1.5" of total lift. that should be enough for now. i have all sorts of blocks for the rear to match it.

it was actually pretty peppy before, but now yeah... gutless. i actually have been using low when starting out on hills. but that sucks because my 1st gear syncro is kinda iffy when the trans is cold.

I have done that with those exact tires on blazer. We got them to fit and never rub, we also retained the inner wheel well

Your crew looks COOL

[QUOTENope those are 16" rims... wish they were 16.5 so they'd fit H1 beadlocks... ][/QUOTE]x2
and 11.0 xzl michelins
