Dont get thornbirds..
My truck came with them. Way loud on roads, had a tendency to get flat spots while sitting. And didnt perform well on any surface except sand.
All they did is load up with mud and spray it all over the side of my truck, into my windows, and on my roof. I would not suggest them to anyone.
Get TSL Radials, or even boggers if you want mud and not concerned about wear

ha ha yea all bias interco's will "be loud, get flat spots, and spray mud all over"![]()
only reason i wanted to go with thornbirds is because 99% of the time its going to be a around town truck, might see mud a couple times a year. I have TSL/SSRs on my truck (not the jimmy) now and while they look cool they only seen minimal mud time. i dunno, i guess ima poser haha
ya i hear ya, thanks for the heads up everyone. well **** if ima do it i may as well do it right. how bout them 38.5x15/15 Boggers? will they fit?In that case you def dont want the thornbirds. They didnt ride well on the street. It seemed those poky side lugs would grab grooves in the road and the tires would drive me all over. They didnt wear very good either. I would just grab another set of the SSR's
