Well I have an 88 suburban I want to put a lift on it but I don't know what's what do u guys know of a kit that's a straight install I don't want to buy a kit and then the kit doesn't include this or that price wise I've been looking at a rough country 4inch lift any help would be great. Thanks

I've got a Rough Country 4" lift on my 88 Suburban. The ride is not exactly smooth. It's not something I can't live with, but if I were to do it all over again, I'd save my money and get a Tuff Country lift instead.

I got the all spring lift, springs in the front and rear. It came with absolutely everything for $550. You will need new extended brake lines and you *might* need to lengthen your front driveshaft, (at least I did). The Rough Country 4" lift is actually around 5" tall because the springs are so thick and have such a high arch.

You must have run out of periods again. :doah:
So you can borrow some of mine ............................................................

I just put a Zone lift on my 88 Blazer and it rides nice, better than stock I think. And it was cheap too. I did pitch the sway bar though which I'm sure helped (after the great advice from the good folks here).

have not used zone yet for solid axle gm stuff like our trucks .

but have sold and installed a LOT of there stuff . good product . :thumb::thumb:

This is for a half ton Burb, don't know if yours is half or 3/4.

I got the nitro shocks, not the hydro.

The plan still is to eventually trade the block in the back for a shackle flip, and upgrade to bilsteins, but for now I'm very happy.

BDS makes the Zone lift, i guess it's kinda their "wal mart" brand, but as I said, I'm extremely happy with it.
