Has anyone tried running 4.10s with 37s with a manual trans (no granny 1st)? Thanks -David

Wheeling I'll be in 4lo so shouldn't be a prob. I drive a couple miles across town to work . 30 mins to wheeling grounds. Worried a little about the clutch life.

Now looking for a new job (entry level engineering undergrad, mechanical assembly, QA, but anything works). Have AS degree (engineering based), familiar with computers (cad, maple, matlab, word, excel). Number oriented (beyond Dif-EQ/calc III). Have engineering desire and understanding. Mechanically inclined. Please PM/e-mail

Hi-jacking my own thread, ever done manual machining?

I run 3.73s with 37" boggers and I have a SM465 but I never use the granny low to start. I always start in second gear. I have a 454 so I have plenty of torque to get me going. I run a stock off the shelf clutch and I have not had any problems yet. I drive it nice and calm on the street but I wheel it pretty hard.

I have 3.73s and 40s with a 305TBI/SM465. I can start off in third gear if I want. Even on hills I start in second.

In low range, I run 3rd gear most of the time. 4.88s or 5.13s would be nice but not necessary.
