4.10s with 38s?

i got a pair of axels with 4.10s in them and i have 38" tires, its a daily driver with a 700r tranny. will the 4.10s be good without straining the tranny? or should i get 4.56s?

How about 5.13's? Try the ol' search button,you'll find a lot of info..

i had 1 ton with 350 tranny and same gear and tire combo. built 400 sbc . never had any problems. kind of boggy on bottom tho.

i say good trans temp gauge and smart gear choices.

I run 4.56's with 40's and a 700 and I wouldn't be able to stand driving it daily. I can rip sh!t up with my 30" shop rollers though.
