I just Recently put a 4" Procomp lift with 33" Km2 Tires, I got the Extended Stainless brake lines, now under hard acceleration in 2wd it pop in the rear and in 4wd it has a constant poping noise. Now im sure it is the Driveshafts angle. Its an 1982 Blazer k5 3speed with the 305. what shafts do i need? Please help. Im trying to sell her and its hard to sell with this problem.

Check the U-joints. Any slop in the joints can make all kinds of wierd noises. I had a 1990 Blazer with the same setup you have and I had the stock drivelines on it with no problems.

If its your u joints the correct way to fix it is with a CV rear driveshaft.

A bunch of people are gonna come in here and say its ok to do a transfercase drop but its really not the right way to fix it. Its the cheap way.

Are you sure the sound is from the rear. if the cv part of your front shaft is bad it will hit the crossmember after the lift. even in 2wd under acceleration the front shaft will turn just from the fluid motion and such in the Tcase. It could be what you hear happening. My k5 did that same thing till I rebuilt all the joints and cv in the front shaft. I could see just a little shiny spot on the cross member rigth under the CV

I'll go check thanks, and ya it happens even more in 4wd. than it does in 2wd. That just seems weird that my CV would go bad right after the lift.

It may have been bad before the lift if thats what it is. but it has more clearance at stock height.

double check that the u bolts on the axle are tight and not moving.check all the bolts to the springs to the shackles.also in front check steering and ujoints in the front axle and shaft.anything that was loose or worn out will show itself more now with the lift and bigger tires.
