4\" lift for a 1st gen Blazer

The plan is a 4" lift with 35X12.5 BFG Muds on my stock 72 CST. I learned that the Tuff Country and Superlift 4" lift kits would come with a 6" rear spring to compensate for the early year Blazer. Do you recommend a 4" shackle flip & 2" spring lift? or 2" shackleflip and 2" spring? any suggestions would be great.

The 4" shackle flip with the 2" rear spring will be your best bet, that will get your 4" ride height and be a reasonably soft spring rate. The early K5's use a spring that has a bit more arch to it than a stock post '73 spring so using the '73-up 2" lift spring would be pretty comparable to running a new stock '72 spring.
