Just got finished installing my RC 4" lift. Went together rather smoothly. Just one problem. My steering wheel is upside down!? (when the wheels are straight, the steering wheel is a full 180* where it should be.)

Looks like you need to adjust your draglink. Just installed my 4inch tough country lift and had to do the same thing.

You need to adjust the drag link now that you have it lifted.

EDIT: What he said. It helps to actually submit the reply.

yeah just need to asjust the draglink is all. i need to do the same althought my is just cocked a lil to the right. anybody know which way to turn the sleeve to get the steering wheel to go which way?

If you are looking at it through the driverside wheel well. You said your steering wheel is to the right you would look at the draglink and turn it to the left. Do this until your steering wheel is straight. Make sure you turn your ignition on to unlock your steering wheel. Easy fix. :waytogo:

For a 4" lift you should probably get a drop Pitman or a raised Steering arm.

Even with the raised steering arm you usually still have to recenter the steering wheel.

i expect i'll have to make adjustments once i install my rancho 4" kit (and procomp drop arm), but it's just part of the deal when making that type of modification.

at least you don't have my other situation. my 94 is 2wd and my steering wheel is 90 degrees off after i installed a new pitman arm (splines on the arm aren't cut exactly like the old one. i'll have to mess with my tie rods to get it right. more to adjust, more to mess up.
