That depends on a ton of factors, if your engine is stone stock you will definitely feel it. It's impossible to say how much.. And honestly numbers are not all its about, it's more about having the power you want where you want or need it most.. It's all about compromise.

Last question, will I have to change my valve springs with that cam? Not looking forward to doing that with the engine still in the truck.

Maybe not, it depends on how high you rev the motor, I bet that cam is on the edge. Valve springs are a good idea, if you rev it float can end a motor quick.. I'd put some in just in case.

It doable in the chassis. If you change heads, it won't matter

Well, eventually I'd like to put better heads on it, but I'll probably wait to do that until I build a completely new engine.
