At the end of hunting season, I'm going to turn my 91 into something else.

The plan is to scrap all the electrical crap (FI, shift for trans, etc) and rebuild the 350 to a 383 or 388 with a 400 trans (which will also be built).

Which transfer case will work with the 400? I have the 241 now.

I'm going with 35s, so what ration will I need in the rear end?

If you don't want to worry about the TC grenading on you, you could consider the 205 an option...numerically lower lo range than the 241 but the strength advantages are undisputable. & since you're building a stroker, you could get away with 4.10s but if you want more power to get put to the ground, 4.56s. Before I tore my Blazer apart, I had a stock 350, TH350, 205, 3.08s in the axles, and 35s. That was a joke, especially when I tried "crawling"

What all do I need to make the 400 work with the 205?
I think I'll go 4.56...as I have a 14 bolt locked with those gears available to me.
