So basically 7" is pretty reasonable to shoot for. If it does get into the fenders I could always just use a bigger bumpstop, right?

If thats the case then I will be a happy man /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Do you have any issues Jeff? What is your axle placement? Did you have to tub the rear or is there no rubbing?

Frizzlefry do you have any good pics to post up? /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

The axles on "Jeff's" 86 are DRW axles (D60/D70) and running uncut hummer rims. The fenders are seriously cutback, but the axles are for the most part in the factory location. there is no rubbing in the front, but there is a slight bit of rubbing when REALLY flexed into the rear wheel wells.

The 7" of lift is on 6" spring and 1" body. It was a great combo IMO. If I hadn't lived in yuppyville, that rig would still be mine... AH WELL. Such is life. Now I'll be trading the Camaro off for a late 80's Cherokee... we'll see how that goes.

Sorry to blubber out here boys, just miss my rig thats all. /forums/images/graemlins/screwy.gif
