I should have one but if you have a part number it will help me pick it out of 6 I have.
One is a 6.2 also external balance so I don't want to confuse...

I am in the process of determining part/casting numbers. @Larry used 14096987 { not sure if this is a part # or casting #} on the internet so far I have came up with 10101171n {casting #} which is supposed to be part # 12556918. Confused yet?? I'm not done!
There is also supposed to be a part # 12556917 and some sources say there are different flywheels depending on if you have a cast or forged crank?? Larry or @ZooMad75 might have some input on all of this. Kinda seems like I am making it more complicated then it should be.:dunno:

I've got to check the number at work tomorrow, but this is what I came up with at home. 12556918. No listing of a different flywheel between cast or forged crank.

Lol, that was a part number. Casting numbers are worthless most of the time.

14096987 is the GMPP part number for the 454HO, which is essentially the same as an L29 as far as the generation of the block. Not really sure what the difference is between this and the stock production flywheel number Rob listed other than a GMPP part always cost twice as much. This part number came from the instruction sheet that came with this crate engine many moons ago.

12556918 this is the stock flywheel. I’d go with this one as it is much cheaper. Rock Auto shows them for $60. Can’t beat that.

Thanks Larry, I will get it ordered. I have always used Luk clutches, what do you use/recommend?

Yeah, LUK is good stuff but I got hung up on Centerforce dual friction clutches years ago with real good luck with them but their pricing has gotten out of control. Centerforces are based upon LUK components though. What used to be a $280 Centerforce clutch kit is now almost $500! The KDF240916 has been my go to clutch kit for my projects since the late 90’s. Given the cost of them these days I doubt I’ll put one in my Blazer project though. I have a new Napa 1104105 Cerametallic Clutch Disc & Pressure Plate (also based upon LUK components) that has been laying here forever that I’ll probably use in my K5. That clutch was a little over $150 at Napa and tough as an anvil but they chatter like hell and shake the fillings right out of your head. No slip at all…either ON or OFF, anything in between is just jerky jerky bang bang

Both of these part numbers are 12" and fit any GM manual prior to the unitized release bearing/slave units that came out in 1995. These will work in anything older than 95

That is weird. I’m actually using the 712576 for 1996 and later NV4500’s and been using the Centerforce 12” for 8 years on the K10 and 5 in the Suburban with no issue. I just noticed AA’s website says 11” for my bell too. Dunno what to say, but the 12” fits fine and works great. Don't know why it even matters as the 11" and 12" most often use the same physical size pressure plate anyway.
