Not exactly a truck engine. I built it based on a 70 LS6 Chevelle 454.

-990 GM casting large rectangle port heads

-vintage edelbrock c427X intake, port matched to the heads.

-Comp cams 292 energy cam

-1.7:1 aluminum roller tip rockers.

-Chevrolet Bow tie cast aluminum valve covers.

Wow, those gotta be rare now....I had one about 35 years ago on a L-72!
 
I don't know just how rare, but they pre-date the performer series that's for sure. Which is why I mentioned the 990 square port heads and intake are vintage matched. Cause the heads are '70 as well.
