Flexplate that was on the tranny originally or the one that was on the motor originally?
The flexplate that originally was bolted to this convertor in question.
Also was the original engine a 1 piece or 2 piece rear main seal engine?

How can I tell? It was a 305 out of a passenger car. Can I tell from the flexplate?

Yes. I won't have the engine out untill later tonight to be able to check the flexplate but I have a spare 454 flexplate and I just measured. All the bolt holes within each patern on the 454 one are 10" apart. The ones on the old 305 one, one set is 10" apart and lines up with the 454 one the other set are 9 1/4" apart. The 9 1/4" ones are the ones that work.
Alright yes that picture is correct for the old flex plate.
Ok, is there anyway I can tripple check this will fit my old convertor for the TH350c?
