Does anyone have the part number for the seal in the adapter for the 465/205? I went to the dealership and on their pictures, it doesnt even show it. Mine is in rough shape, but do i really even need it since both the 465 and 205 take the same oil? Or will all the oil fill one up and stay in it? I was thinking just leaving it and hope it works enough.

Failed seal will fill the transfercase and it will puke fluid.

Sorry, can't find the part number in the parts manual.

I had this happen so I know that the t-case overfills and pukes while the transmission is almost dry. I replaced one but mangled it and thought "eh, they are both gear oil". Learned the hard way to install seal correctly the first time.

Part number at Napa is NOS 13676
Mfg part number is 473214

Dimensions are: I.D. : 1.3750"
O.D. : 2.2540"
Width : .3130"

I am assuming you have the 10 spline setup though. PM me if you have something different. I think these cost like $10.00 so just from experience I say get two.

Nope i got the 10 spline, thanks a ton. Im heading to Napa now to get it.
