My trans to adapter bolts keep getting loose. And fluid is leaking.
Do those bolts thread into the oil cavity?
I'd like to brake clean the holes, and locktite them.
But I don't want to pull one out and drain my trans either.

I believe they do go into the cavity, but it's been a while since I've been in there. In fact, the seal between the trans and t-case is on the t-case side. So you're going to be losing gear oil.

Kind figured. There were tighter this time than they looked. Only a little drop for a leak, and a half turn on most of the bolts.
Ive tightened them twice before, and seen a drip and what looked like a small gap. But it was an illusion due to the slight offset of the castings.
I still want to do it. But I'll let it ride for now.
Thanks.
