4l60e Compatiblilty

Alright folks. I believe a 4x4 4l60e between the years of 99 to 2007 are compatible. However, what I want to know will a 4l60e be the same from a Tahoe, Yukon, Suburban or any other vehicle that they were in between these years? Looking for one for my swap, just want to make sure my engine, computer and wiring harness from a 2000 silverado will bolt up to and electronics work with these transmissions?

Same. PRNDL switch will be single plug in later style and 2 plug in early. Swap able though, the switch I mean.

4l65 will go right in too.

So instead of just looking for a tranny out of a 2000 silverado truck, I could look for a tranny out of ANY of these vehicles between 99 and 2007 that are 4x4?
