What I have is a 90 burb with a worn out 350, I just rebuilt the tranny 700r4 did a sye on 241 transfer case. Truck is sitting on 37" on hummer bead locks 14bff detroit d44 front with redneck ram 4.56s for now. i really dont wnat to change transfer due to sye and custom driveshafts not cheap!!!! i have a complete running454 4l80e and transfer case out of 96 k2500 burb that was wifes dd she totaled out. What I am triing to figure out is if the output shaft of the 4l80 will match the input of the 241. Any thoughts ideas

I have never done it, but I think you may have every you need.
You going to have to tear apart your transfer case again to change the input.
I would say you could use the input from the later model case but it appears there is different style for the 1995 up transfer cases.

The adapter for the later model case should work.

Oh, I don't think you can get away having to lengthen the front and shorten the rear drive shaft.

figures was hopeing not to tear into again. was thinking about swapping just engine and going tbi but ive got complete truck with sfi swapping is not a big deal heck put a 440 w 727 in an 88 chevy 2wd with d 70 welded for a drag truck for wife:D

You cannot use the input gear from your '96 np241 in the older passenger drop 241. Been there, done that. It will go together but the pitch of the gears is different. It binds and when you drive, and whines terribly. I only put about 10 miles on mine and it was so bad i was worried that i had ruined my transfer case. You will have to get a new 32 spline input gear for your passenger drop 241.

I have a tbi454/4L80e in mine. Your transfer case will end up farther back than it is now with the 4l80e replacing a 700r4. You will need your driveshaft lengths changed. I had to have both of mine redone.
