Yes you read it correctly, i want to know if anyone has ever made a 4wd into a 2wd with the a-arms ect. Reason is i have always thought a 2wd C5 would be a killer street truck. Around here they are EXTREMELY rare, i know of 2 and both are not worth saveing. Also has anyone used a fiberglass tub, front clip ect? Not that im looking very seriously into yet ANOTHER project just curious.

if only you lived closer (read sig) I have seen some k-5s that were converted to 2wd. There was one in truckin magazine last year. If you had a donor 2wd pickup, you could swap the entire suspension over to the blazer

There's a memeber here with a k-5 that has a fiberglass body, I believe his name is 73k5blazer

Yea LOL i dont get it. I guess its because Utah is in the rockies and 2wd isnt very common (well exept 87 and older 3/4 and 1 tons) The 2 i know of are not only rusted and beat but pretty much the suspention and everything is beat. Now i dont want to offend anyone here but they are TRUE REZ trucks. Meaning the indians have drove them literaly into the dirt, and whats left isnt worth saveing. Now Im not saying all indians are bad or anything just thats the norm here. In fact one of my best friends is an indian and he rents my basement from me.

Back on topic yea here they are rare those 2 are the only 2 i have ever seen in Utah.

thats funny, Im here in the rust belt and my 2wd is rust free! Its originally from arizona, I've had it for about 6 years now.

FYI GM stopped making the 2wd k5 in 1982
