4WPW and Weld Racing Wheel sale is a SCAM!

Only good thing about them is their free magazine (but they won't send it to me anymore as I haven't bought anything from them in years).

You mean the catalog they put out, that has "articles" in it? :haha:

The last few I've thrown out as soon as I see them in the mailbox; back when I did read them, the atrocious spelling and grammar was annoying enough, but when in an allegedly technical article they reviewed an item on how "tough" and "beefy" it looked ... I had it.

And it takes a lot to make me angry at my reading material when I'm on the throne :haha:

The only dealing I have had with them was getting some Warn hub screws in. First they don't return calls when the tell you they will. Then they try to charge me shipping to the store, after listening to the message that the shipping to the store was free. Then when they finally came in, about a week later than they were supposed to be in, they never called me. I had to call the store three times just to find out they were in.

I will never deal with them again, and hope nobody else does.

Eh, the parts Jim Allen wrote are pretty good. I really liked his Old Iron series.

I have to agree with you on the Old Iron articles. They're pretty interesting. I never knew 1/2 of those 4x4s existed.

Personally I haven't had any problems with the store I deal with. But I almost always ask for the manager and order thru him, Richard. He actually seems pretty knowledgable compared to a couple intellectually challenged guys I talked to up there. The only problem I did have was when I ordered my tires and wheels. They dropped off some 39 Iroks on 20s and I was kind of puzzled. They called me that same afternoon and said the shipping company got my order confused with another one in a neighboring town. 2 days later that dropped off my correct tires and wheels and picked up the Iroks. Other than that I haven't had any problems but then again I haven't gone fishing on any of their "specials" they post.

That doesn't mean they're going to send you wheels.

They told Wes that there was a mistake and checked with him before charging extra anyway.[/quote]

It looks like many mistakes MIGHT HAPPEN from the HIGH VOLUME, or as members have said, "Its a Scam"

If it is, its a very foolish SCAM, especially if the Federal Trade Commission Finds out

FTC
