I don't remember what badges they wore (usually see them at night at comp-hill), but neither have the hide-away headlights. lol ;)
hide-away lights was the rs package, you can almost bet they are badged ss whether they are or not. i hope they were badly rusted cars and they had to put in new floors and use bondo everywhere, otherwise they were idiots, you just don't do that to the king of camaros the 69's now the el camino that sounds intrigueing.
i want a 4x4 van. what where the model #'s on the stock chevy 4x4's is that the v models?

Um, Chevy, or GM for that matter never built a 4x4 van. There are AWD models avail in from mid 90's up, but not 4x4.

V models were blazers and subs and 1 tons from 88-91

i think i feel faint that 2nd pic is just wrong, i mean a 70 camaro looks good just about any way, but god i hope thats not a 70 1/2, oh god please be merciful, don't be a 70 1/2, oh please! but i must admit i kinda like it, along with the dune runner it also looks good, but what a waste!!!

Not sure if anyone has been out to Panama City Beach, Fl. On the main road right on the beach a rental shop has a late 70's model camaro on a k5 frame. It looked like crap they used rebar for a sway bar and 2" thin wall sq tubing for the 15" body lift and stock suspension. It also had a bald ground hawgs on it and one was flat. The was a later model dodge car at an aparment right off the beach down their that was done very cleanly with no sign of a 4x4 frame, it was on 33 bfg's.

i've seen early 80's van that was 4x4 and it wasn't homemade, were they done by a conversion company? has any 1 seen the new silerado commercial it shows a concept vehicle, its an anvil with a hitch on the rear, thought it was cool.

Tempo on 31's

If done correctly, I think it'd look pretty sweet on 31's

Naturally, you'd need more lift for articulation, and I need more practise with 'The Gimp' photo editing software:

Well, actually the picture doesn't look right. This one looks a little better:
TempoBling.jpg

but doesn't have the lift. If I had a picture of a chassie from the right angle, I could put the two pics together. The first pic I think looks the best, sense I basically put a pic of my JEEP with my Ford.

TRAR's rule. I WANT ONE!!!!

That red camaro, if they cut out the wheel wells (neatly) and lowed the body to the frame, it would look a lot better :)

Please stop. You've already wasted your first 3 posts on a K5 based web site be about a tempo.

I'm going to go wash my eyes out with soap now.

Opps, sorry 'bout that.

I just found this page while searching Google for Trars. I suppose a K5 chassie would be too short for my Tempo, but it would seem that might also be the case for a Camaro. But on second thought, I did see a two door factory made Cadilac TRAR at a museum in Bullhead City, NV. At first I was thinking why is that here. Maybe just filling up empty space, but then I read the sign next to it. It was made for some famous guy's brother, who happened to be a friend of someone at GM. Basically they took a brand new Cadillac and put it on (I think) a blazer chassie. Looked pretty decent. Sure wish I has a pic. Sure wish I could go back out and take a pic. Sure wish I could go back out with a 4x4 instead of an 18 wheeler (you know, those things suck off road:wink1:)

I'll say it, the yellow 67 or 68 camaro looks good...that dude put some cash and/or time into that one...agreed it should have been spent improving the street handling and such, but the car looks good to me...I'd like to drive it for awhile...

I see that one like twice a year and cringe every time...

that second aerostar van on that site, the orange one, looks nice.

There is a mid 80's caravan 4x4 down the road. I wanted to stop and look but the wife said no.:D Maybe I can get a pic tomorrow.
