i got my truck back from the transmision shop today (i wont be able to get it back there for a few days) and now when i drive it in 2h the right side has a ticking sound even with the wheel speed and is really loud. it sounds like when you put a soda can or a card on your bike tires. theres no sticks in the rim and no rocks in the tires and 4x4 is really clanky and feels awful. whats going on???
thanks alot for any help

Not sure if it is the same problem, but I had something similar. My spring clips for my front brake pads were MIA. I replaced the pads and it came with new clips. I knew it was the clips because everytime I hit the brake the ticking stopped.

i do have auto hubs and thanks alot everyone for the help....
is there an easy way besides counting to find the gear ratios i have, they could be different, these people i bought it from kinda are idiots. im hoping that will explain the grinding. also if i got k30 axles from a truck or something would it just be a simple swap or are the yokes different sizes? what kind of problems might arise? is it worth it?
