So if I wanna put A/C on this new 5.3 I hear that where it is located will interfere with the frame. Is this correct and if so has someone figured out an alternative solution?

after my deal with him if I found a different set of bolt in mounts I would swap them and scrap his junk ! he was so rude and didn't give a dam about my problems with his stuff.

Having looked at what I received...very impressed. Just sayin, I know you and more than a few others had issues with the engine mount welding. All the AC stuff is CNC'd billet aluminum.

I'm running an Old Air Products AC system in my '68. I ordered it with this LS set up. Steel with steel collars. Simple and fit perfect.

Holley set up is nice and clean. Never used dirty dingo Ac mount only ther motor mounts which where awesome.. I used an Ac mount off of a pre vortec s 10. Lil modification but it's an easy fit. I got the info off this forum. Let me add its been a Bunch of help. I thank you for that .

Its not that hard. Simple frame notch then add a reinforcement plate. This is an 8.1 in a 76 but its in the same location as the LS.

I've got the Holley kit with a sanden 508 compressor on my 5.3L.

So when you are cutting out the frame you are basically building another right next to that spot? I'm just wondering about supporting the frame if I do this and cut out the other side if I need to fit my exhaust manifolds.

Also look at different year compressors. My 99 5.3l had a big block that both lines went into on the compressor. My 2000 5.3l came with a denso compressor and has a much smaller block that the lines go into and then bolts to the compressor. Same mounting and same belt for both though.
